After a successful trial run last year, the Girl Scouts of Northern Illinois have chosen to hold their Thin Mint Sprint in Fox River Grove on Saturday, September 17th. This timed, 5K run/walk will be a neighborhood event, beginning and ending at the library. There will be an after run party from 9:00 am to noon in the parking lot. It will include a climbing wall, Girl Scout mobile store, vendors, refreshments, and more fun! The race will be a significantly larger event this year with already over 100 registered participants. Our Run Club is responsible for managing the course and various aspects of the race so many volunteers are needed.
